All Ecuadorian

Nowadays, all Ecuadorian have come together to fight for their language, culture and the social-economical development of their families.  New and old Ecuadorian associations have made alliances searching for social, economical and cultural protection. For example, the case of the quichua-speaking population is unique. They have developed a strong self-esteem with a scope beyond the limits of the Ecuadorian State and this progressive feeling has spreaded to most parts of the Andean zone.

Step by step, our National State has become a Multi-National or Multi-Ethnic State where different Ecuadorian cultures can coexist in their territories. This level of equality is another progressive and harmonious chapter towards social integration.

Even though such an definitive solution still appears to be distant, the historical struggle of Ecuadorian indigenous organizations has given us a conscience and respect for the ethnic minorities. All Ecuadorian objectives are still far from being accomplished, but isolated and significant successes have been reached in the political and social field.
